Trainee Instructor

Description

The Trainee Scheme is a one-year training course in Activities Leadership. Trainees undergo a comprehensive training programme designed to teach the necessary skills for leading safe activity sessions, encourage the development of a personal leadership style and create an impact on guests who use the Centre. 
 
Twenty two places are available from August 2012- August 2013. Following successful completion of the Scheme there may be opportunities for contractual, salaried positions as an Activity

Instructor at the Pioneer Centre, Whitemoor Lakes, Benham or other areas of work within NAYC. 
 
The Scheme will pay for most fees connected with the formal qualifications obtained. Room and Board, work uniform, and ID badges are provided. A deposit is required for waterproof work wear.

Open to 18 to 24-year-olds of British nationality. Experience is not necessary, but a desire to develop leadership skills while working in outdoor pursuits with young people is
