Activity Leaders

Description

UK Study is looking for energetic, confident, young individuals to lead sports and recreation activities for 11 to 18 year olds in English language summer camps in England and Scotland. Activity Leaders need to have lively personalities and to work well as part of a team.

Activity Leaders will be responsible to the Activity Manager who will organise training sessions before the courses start and offer guidance throughout the working period. Activity Leaders will be expected to meet and greet clients at the airport, accompany students on visits and excursions, lead sports activities and run talent shows, quiz nights, musicals, sketches and cabaret acts, group dances and theme party nights with a disco.

Detailed programmes are provided and a written manual which explains how all events are run and organised with lots of suggestions for games and activities.

Above all, we are looking for hard-working, committed individuals who have the necessary skills to get students involved in the programme and who are able to take the lead.

Requirements

Candidates should be mother tongue English speakers and must enjoy working with youngsters between the ages of 11 and 18.

They should have some experience of organising sports activities, dance classes, theatre presentations, games and competitions, and, most importantly, they should be friendly, approachable and enthusiastic.
