Are you looking for an exciting new adventure? We are now able to offer an exciting opportunity 16 & 17 year olds to take part in a Junior apprenticeship scheme at our centres:
- Ashburnham Place in Hastings
- Croft Farm in Tewkesbury
- Condover Hall in Shrewsbury
- Cholderton Farm near Salisbury.
This is a part time, live out position with full training and some meals provided with positions to start in March.
You will be working alongside our Activity instructors to deliver over 40 land based sessions. JCA is one of the fastest growing providers of School Activity Holidays. Working with like-minded people in an energetic and lively team you will ensure the groups have an unforgettable time with JCA!
When fully trained a Junior Apprentice will be able to assist the Activity instructor in understanding the strengths, limitations & personalities of each participant, which in turn will help build trust & rapport with various groups during their stay. They will help to ensure the safety and welfare of our customers and the efficient delivery of the Travel Class product to all customers. Using high levels of enthusiasm and skills learnt on the comprehensive training course, our Junior Instructors will be key in providing groups with an unforgettable stay that exceeds their expectations.
What You'll Be Doing
- Providing excellent customer service to customers throughout their stay.
- Ensuring high equipment standards are maintained throughout the season, faulty equipment is escalated and/or removed from sessions immediately.
- Adhering to strict uniform and grooming standards throughout the season.
- Carry out work set by the apprenticeship team within the set deadlines.
- Performing team and individual duties to include activity area / room / site work, facility preparation, session development and equipment maintenance.
- Helping to maintain a safe and high standard of delivery on all activity sessions.
