Description
Exclusive Boutique Chalet in France requires a top Chef for the winter season for 2011/11.
You will be required to cook a high standard of cuisine, breakfast, afternoon tea cakes, canapes and 3-4 course evening meals. Children's meals may also required. You will also be responsible for menu planning and maintaining the kitchen.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- menu design and planning
- placing of food orders
- preparation and service of breakfast, afternoon tea, canapés, five course evening meal, ski room snacks, pre-dinner nibbles, after dinner petits fours, and turn down presents
- catering for all guests special dietary requirements
- catering for all requests for special occasions
- catering for children and nannies (including early lunches and dinners when required)
- to be conscious of food hygiene and general health and safety in the kitchen and dining areas
- keeping the kitchen clean, tidy and presentable
- assisting with the management of chalet food budgets
- assisting with the maintenance of all kitchen facilities and equipment
- planning and preparation of staff meals

Requirements
We require a Chef with 5* standard in a previous Chalet or Hotel.
You must have a passion for food and excellent team skills.
You must also hold a clean driving license, UK bank account, and have experience working in the hospitality industry.
