Shelter believes everyone should have a home. We help people find and keep a home. We campaign for decent housing for all.
Face to face fundraising is a well established proven method of raising funds for high profile charities. We know that for every £1.00 we spend on recruiting, training and employing our street fundraisers, we’ll raise £4.40 to help prevent homelessness. It’s a pretty compelling statistic!
We want to identify individuals who believe that everybody is entitled to have a decent home and who’d like to do something about it. Once we’ve found you, we’ll inspire you by sharing information with you about the work we do and the results we generate. We’ll then train you in the art of door to door fundraising. We’ll coach you, develop you and work closely with you until you join a team.
Once assigned to a team, you’ll be mentored by your team leader and motivated by our many incentives for great performance.
Requirements
You’ll need to be available from 3 pm to 9 pm, Monday to Friday. The work will all take place between zones 4 and 6.
