Description

Our client in Bath are looking for an Accounts Administrator.

The purpose of the role is to provide a strong accounting/administration resource to the financial controller and other Departmental Leads.

This is a part- time opportunity with working hours of Mon- Fri (apart from Weds) covering 16 hours per week (level of flexibility).

Main Responsibilities
1.To work as part of the Accounts team and provide assistance to Management
2.To act in a professional manor and to maintain timekeeping
3.To ensure the office area is clean & tidy at all times
4.To be able to offer a high level of customer service
5.Meeting specific deadlines & timescales
6.Operate with passion and determination, developing a "can do" attitude
7.Ensuring accuracy and attention to detail at all times
Specific Duties
1.IT Literate
2.Purchase Ledger
*Processing purchase invoices (coding & entering on Sage)
*Maintain purchase order record spreadsheet
*Compile Textile monthly spend figures
3.Sales Ledger
*Recording cash & bank receipts (entering on Sage)
*Issuing monthly customer statements
*Credit Control work
4.Prepare the weekly banking
5.Basic HR duties
*Maintaining Employee files
*Clock card management
*Maintaining holiday records
6.Answering the Accounts switchboard
*Confident phone manner
*Processing card payments
*Dealing with customer enquiries
7.Basic admin duties
*Filing
*Post
*shredding
