Accounts Assistant
Main Responsibilities:
* Sales ledger, including posting cash, credit control and reconciliations
* Purchase ledger, including processing and inputting supplier invoices and BACS payments
* Bank accounts, including reconciliations
* Management accounts to trial balance, including preparation and inputting of journals
* HR, including monitoring and maintaining absence and holiday records
* VAT and other Government returns as required
* Communication with colleagues in all departments and externally in an effective professional and friendly manner
Key Skills
* A recognised accounting qualification and experience of supporting the preparation of Management Accounts in a manufacturing company preferred
* Well-organised and methodical, self-motivated, able to use initiative
* IT literate including accounting systems; training for Bray Group specific accounting system will be provided.
* Ability to use Microsoft Excel and Word effectively are essential for this role
* Numerate and literate
* Good communication skills, both written and verbal are essential
* Excellent attention to detail
Monday to Friday: 20 hours per week
