Description

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join a successful and local Accountancy Practice in Newcastle under Lyme.

The right candidate for this role would be a team player with a flexible attitude within the workplace. 30 hours per week / Permanent / Immediate Start on offer / Flexible working hours

***Must have at least 2 years experience within an Accountancy Practice ***

What the role entails:

- Accounts Receivable/Payable Duties
- Debtor Control & Liaison
- End to End Payroll including month end commissions calculations
- Produce Debtors/Creditors reports for Cashflow reporting
- Bank Reconciliations
- Staff Expenses
- Assist with month end duties (post journals, KPI Reporting)

What you will need for this role:

- Experience in using Sage, Excel Spreadsheets, QuickBooks and Xero is essential

- Be able to prepare and submit VAT returns -Be able to prepare Accounts for sole traders and limited companies

- At least 2 years experience of working within a public practice

- Confident to work without supervision
