£9.26 per hour

Part time, flexible hours - 3 months with the option to extend


Who will you be working for?

Our client, a non-ministerial government department, is on the lookout for a part time Accounts Clerk to join them on an initial 3-month temporary basis at this exciting time. The roles will be based at their offices in Taunton.

What you will be doing?

Reporting to the Accounts Supervisor, the Accounts Clerk will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Finance team. The role will include 3 main components - Processing of expense claims, assisting with monthly reconciliations and answering calls and emails from customers.

Although the above will be your day to day duties, there will also be a lot of adhoc help required so the ability to assist and learn on the job would be advantageous.

What can you bring to the role?

To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience using excel and upstand how to input data. Ideally you will have exposure to some sort of financial background, but this is not a must.

This role will eventually come down to attitude, the client is looking for a positive, outgoing person who doesn't mind learning as they go and has a "can do" attitude.
