Are you looking for an administration and receptionist opportunity based within Blackpool?

If yes, then this may be the part time PERMANENT role for you!

An SEN school in Blackpool are looking to permanently appoint a new administrative assistant to their reception team. The successful applicant will ideally have experience working in a SEN School environment (although this isn't essential).

This is a part time (2.5 days a week / 19.5 hours) permanent role to start in February 2019.

The role will involve assisting with the day to day administration on behalf of the administration team and senior colleagues of the school and manning an extremely busy school office. The successful applicant will hold a key role within the school and will be responsible for completing tasks that ensure a smooth and professional operation.

Daily interaction with pupils is an essential element of this role and their behaviour at times can be challenging.

Be the first point of contact for students, staff and visitors
To assist with administration tasks
Organising and distributing the post and messages
Use of the central printing services
General record keeping, administration and electronic filing

Use of school software packages

Administration experience

The ability to communicate with challenging students

Clear and confident communication skills both verbally and written form

Highly presentable
