Description

We are currently recruiting for and experienced administrator with knowledge of accounts. This is a part time opportunity working 25 hours per week (Monday – Friday 9 am – 1 pm additional 5 hours worked flexibly).

Main Duties:-

1) To monitor and be responsible for the balancing of the accounts and the preparation of records for audit and VAT purposes.

2) To receive and report on invoices for goods and services to be paid and to ensure accounts are met.

3) To issue invoices for goods and services and ensuring payments are received within a timely manner.

4) To process payroll and Pension Scheme

5) Provide financial reports as and when required.

6) To attend Meetings, to take minutes and record decisions

7) To produce Newsletters in conjunction with Editor

8) To process applications in accordance with the procedure, to ensure the appropriate authority receives all the information required within the given timescales

9) To study reports and other data on the activities and to share relevant information as necessary

10) To draw up proposals for consideration and to advise on the practicability and the likely effect of specific courses of action

11) To liaise with other authorities and official bodies as required

12) To receive and deal with correspondence and documents and issue correspondence as a result

13) To answer the telephone and deal with enquires from members of the public.

14) Responsibility for the diaries of managers, from making appointments to arranging meetings etc.
