An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Apprentice Band 3 MDT Assistant to join the Cancer Performance & Improvement team. The role will be to support the work of the tumour site-specific multi-disciplinary teams and provide a comprehensive and quality administration service to the Cancer Performance team and Cancer MDT Coordinators.

To succeed in this apprenticeship you will demonstrate and develop skills to manage and prioritise workloads liaising closely with the other administration staff and management in the team.

You will be working mostly Monday - Friday; and depending on the role and department opening times the hours vary between 8:00am – 8:30pm – total hours per week will be 37.5 hours for minimum of 14 months. Some roles also have weekend work however you would be made aware of the hours and days required when given the job description for each role. The role is paying £6.50 per hour after successful completion of your probation will raise to £7.57 per hour.

Applicants must demonstrate excellent communication skills, IT skills, and be organised, proactive and self-motivated.

On the programme you will work towards achieving a Customer Service Practitioner (Level 2) Apprenticeship. There is also a comprehensive workplace training programme to support you develop and extend your skills and compliment your on-the-job learning.
