An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 2 Apprentice Outpatient Receptionist within the Women’s, Children’s and clinical support division. You will provide effective and efficient clerical and reception support ensuring that administration processes meet the needs of all service users and staff.

To succeed in this apprenticeship you will demonstrate and develop skills in providing good customer service to members of the public and liaising closely with other administration staff and management team.

Main Responsibilities;

* Providing effective delivery of clerical and reception duties for the department.

* Achievement of key departmental targets

* Adherence to departmental and trust policies/guidelines

* Input and maintenance of accurate patient information on Trust information systems.

* Provision of excellent customer service to members of the public and staff who visit or contact the clinic.

* Contribution to positive patient experiences.

The role is paying £6.50 per hour after successful completion of your probation will raise to £7.57 per hour.

On the programme you will work towards achieving a Customer Service Practitioner (Level 2) Apprenticeship. There is also a comprehensive workplace training programme to support you develop and extend your skills and compliment your on-the-job learning.
