Banqueting and Bar Staff Required
Our clients based across South London and Surrey and in search of dynamic and energetic team members for both banqueting and bar. Bar staff will be given training on anything they do not know however the basic bar skills will be a necessity. Banqueting staff would preferably be experienced in waiting on large numbers at a time. The three sectors to make a well run function, kitchen, bar and floor must all be able to work in a positive and hardworking attitude. Product knowledge on what is served will be given on site.
Bar staff duties will include;
* Serving drinks to customers over a free or paid bar.
* Prepare drinks for waiting staff to collect and distribute.
* Collection and cleaning of glasses if required.
* To have knowledge of products memorised (in good time).
* Be polite at all times to customers and staff.
* Acknowledge customers waiting at the bar even if already serving.
* Prepare fruit and garnishes for a selection of spirits.
Banqueting staff duties will include;
* Waiting on high number of guests at time.
* Taking orders, often a few courses at a time.
* Taking in customer feedback both during and after a meal.
* Keep drinks topped up for guests.
* Recognising an issue and resolving it with professionalism and care.
* Cash and card handling for payment of bills.
* Greeting all guests with a warm and welcoming approach.
