WEEKEND ONLY CARE ASSISTANTS REQUIRED TO WORK IN THE SALE OR STRETFORD AREAS OF TRAFFORD!

AS THIS IS A COMMUNITY BASED ROLE, YOU MUST HOLD A FULL UK DRIVING LICENSE AND HAVE UNRESTRICTED ACCESS TO A VEHICLE.

Medacs Healthcare are currently recruiting for experienced and inexperienced home carers to join our ever expanding team of professional and dedicated care staff, providing both emotional and practical support to elderly Service Users in their own homes.

3 days paid induction training will be provided for all successful applicants.

A full DBS will be required to commence work with Medacs Healthcare. The cost of a fully enhanced, child & adult DBS is £40.00. This is to be funded by the applicant upon completion of a successful interview, although we will discuss payment options in the event of financial challenges.

Shift patterns are: 07.00 to 13.30 and 15.30 to 22.00.

Pay rates are - £9.50 per hour plus 20p per mile, mileage allowance.

Duties will include (but not be limited to):-

Personal Care - bathing, showers, toileting, pad changes, dressing/undressing, hair care, dental hygiene etc.

Medication - supporting with medication by providing a verbal prompt or physical assistance.

Food Preparation - providing light meals, snacks and drinks.

Documentation - a brief but factual account of every care visit is to be documented in the clients homecare file, therefore, an excellent command of the English language is required, written, reading and verbal.
