Edustaff are pleased to be working alongside this inclusive and well-established primary school based in Harlow – Essex as they look to bring on two self-motivated and dynamic graduates that are keen to progress into a teaching career. Each year the school builds a small team of Graduate Teaching Assistant support staff to work alongside their support team. If successful in joining this team, you will be working across Key Stage 2 classes providing academic and pastoral support to children working at ranging abilities.

This is a perfect opportunity for graduates looking to gain experience before deciding what kind of a teacher they want to become, as your experience, training and development at this leading school will be comprehensive and varied.

KS2 Graduate Teaching Assistant | You will gain experience in the following:

- Whole class support and teaching support, including planning and lesson delivery.
- Training in teaching methods such as differentiation and behaviour management.
- 1:1 support of students with learning difficulties / SEN.
- Break out / Intervention group work.
- Numeracy & Literacy Intervention and attainment methods.
- Exam preparation.

To be considered for this Graduate Teaching Assistant role you will need an undergraduate degree at 2:1 or higher. School experience is not essential but some experience supporting children will hold you in good stead.
