Lunch Time Care Worker - SEND Support

Based in Lewisham
Special Educational Needs and DisabilityWe are currently looking for Lunch Time Care Worker to work in a SEND School based in Lewisham, between the hours of 10.00am - 2.00pm (4 hours per day). You will be responsible for overseeing the pupil's lunchtime meals and activities. This will include supporting children with eating their food, coordinating activities outside, supervising their behaviour and assisting with personal care when needed.

Experience is not necessary as training will be given. previous experience with children or adults with additional needs would be helpful. Our school supports children with various learning difficulties and disabilities, so we are looking for candidates that are compassionate, patient and calm.

Experience of working as a Care Support Worker or Care Assistant
Experience supporting young adults or adults with learning difficulties and disabilities
Strong communication skills
Valid DBS registered with the online update service or be willing to apply for a new one
Available 5 days a week
Able to commit to hours between 11.00am - 1.00pm or 12pm-2pm (2 hours per day)
