My client is a well-established Accountancy firm. Based in a friendly and supportive team in Wakefield you will be working on a portfolio of clients. Our client is looking for an experienced Part Time Payroll Clerk to join them on a permanent basis

Job Description

Reporting directly to Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for the timely and accurate processing of weekly and monthly payroll.

Responsibilities and requirements

* Payroll bureau

* Lots of construction clients - CIS Reporting

* 29 clients weekly payroll, 196 monthly (100 of which are save and send)

* Must have very strong Excel as lots of manual processing

* Responsible for all aspects from start to finish

* Experience of Sage advantageous

* Bureau experience not essential – high volume payroll suffices

* Auto enrolment – Nest

* Attachment orders

* Must have exceptional payroll knowledge answering queries

* 3 days 9-5 or 5 half days – flex, opportunity for overtime
