Recently published research published by the Resolution Foundation suggests that graduates returning home after graduating could have a negative impact on their career prospects as it decreases the mobility of labour in Britain.
Stephen Clarke, policy analyst from the Resolution Foundation, explains further: “The decline in internal migration and job-to-job moves means that graduates could be missing out on pay rises early on in their careers.. he goes on to suggest that this leads to inertia which contributes to the fact that this generation of young people are earning less than the previous generation at their age.”Read full article on The Mancunion...
