Finance Administration Assistant – West Suffolk College – Bury St Edmunds –Permanent – TTO (25 Hours per Week, 38 weeks per year) - £9,308.40 – £9,938.36 Per Annum

We are currently looking for a Finance Administration Assistant to join our Finance Team here at West Suffolk College. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and dedicated to helping the Finance team grow and develop. This position will give the successful candidate the opportunity to join one of the top 5% of colleges.

Role Responsibilities

* Maintain records of Apprentices and help administer the receipt of fees and payment of incentives. Calculate payments made to partners.
* Help to administer all payments and receipts in connection with the College Fund, responding to queries and sending out monthly statements.
* Initiate and approve payments via the online banking facility including BACS, international payments and currency orders.

* Provide administrative assistance to the Finance Team as required

Required qualifications, skills and experience

* NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent in Business and/or Finance
* Experience of working in a financial environment
* Good accuracy and attention to detail.
