12 Month Fixed Term Contract

Escape Recruitment Services are currently recruiting for a Finance Assistant for a well-known client in the Fife area. Bookkeeping experience and strong communication skills with attention to detail are all essential in this role. This will provide an opportunity to work in a fantastic environment which will offer training and potential career development.

Duties will include:

* Actively support or participate in income generation
* Maintain and file all documents supporting the businesses financial transactions in an orderly manner
* Post nominal ledger journals
* Reconcile all bank accounts including petty cash
* Maintain general ledgers checking that all accounts balance
* Query any transactions which do not meet company policy to obtain explanation.
* Query invoicing issues with suppliers
* Payment of expenses
* Fortnightly reconciliation of the petty cash

To apply for this job candidates should have the following skills and experience:

* Previous experience in a similar role; finance administrator or finance assistant
* Dedicated and flexible
* Confident IT skills including MS Excel and ideally Sage
* Excellent communication skills are essential
* Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
