A Graduate Cover Supervisor role involves delivering pre-set lesson plans to students in the absence of their regular class teacher. It requires adaptability, confidence, resilience and a good sense of humour!

***Starting September 2019
***Initially one-year role that can lead on to Teacher Training from September 2020
***£65-£70 per day

Graduate Cover Supervisor Specification

This school is looking for a resilient and adaptable character. Do you enjoy a varied day? This Cover Supervisor will be working across a variety of subject areas, supporting the students in the absence of their regular teacher. You will be provided training and support by the school to help you to manage the behaviour of the students. Graduates who have a degree within the following subject areas are particularly encouraged to apply:

- Maths
- Science
- English
- Geography
- Business Studies

About the Graduate Cover Supervisor Role

This role will require you to embrace an array of subjects and confidently deliver sessions to students from year 7 through to 11. This Cover Supervisor will involve working with different ability classes daily and will be expected to quickly adapt to different classes and lesson plans. You will be looking at using this Cover Supervisor role as experience to take you forward into a career in teaching.
