This telephone sales lead generator position is with one of the most sought-after software companies in the UK to work for. The company suite of products is world class and highly rated (renowned as the world leader in their class) – making it a very attractive product to purchase and sell.

The company has grown significantly, is part of a larger global network of companies and is highly resourced. The company seeks to attract the highest calibre of sales personnel – they want to find an individual who is specifically looking for a career in sales.  People with competitive sporting backgrounds, entrepreneurial spirit or just an amazing “get up and go” attitude would be expected to do well in this company. Working in smaller teams (circa 6 people), the overall team is currently over 40 people strong and is growing exponentially. There is a really friendly people dynamic and positive buzz in the office – and of course, selling the “class leader” is always an attractive proposition – both to you and also to the commercial companies that you will be calling (this is B2B sales).

The role is office based and after you have been trained, you will be given a list of suitable company prospects to get you started. You will use your people/rapport building skills, on the phone, to find out the relevant needs/issues and then use your skills and knowledge to present solutions to the business decision maker(s) you are calling. Your purpose is to qualify the prospects and with the ones you know are serious/pertinent, you will achieve their commitment to an appropriate meeting with one of the company’s Account Managers.

You can excel in this role and then use your entrepreneurial prowess to grow your customer market whilst finding new techniques to improve your performance. Your “world leading” employer will spot talent in the role quickly and will support your ongoing growth and development.

Essential requirements sought for this role include: -

A university degree - no specific preferred subject (2:1 grade or better is essential)
Language fluency (to professional business standards) in a second language – the order of preference is: German, French, Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, Finnish
At least 6 months’ paid work experience, ideally in a relevant environment
Resourceful in terms of identifying companies/prospects to grow business with, using tools like Linked In, web searches, referrals, etc.
Keeping the CRM software accurate/up to date
Good people communication skills (phone/verbal/written)
Good organisational & prioritising skills - thorough
There is an excellent onboarding/training scheme to get your skills/knowledge up to speed. From there, you could potentially grow your career into Account Management, team leader or other sales related career directions.
