York – Drama Graduate

Are you a Drama Graduate interested in starting a career in Education? Do you have a passion for supporting children with special needs? If so, Teaching Personnel want to hear from you!

Teaching Personnel is seeking to appoint a Drama Graduate to work with Primary pupils with special educational needs in September 2019. Should you hold a 2:1 or higher and have full time availability, we could have the ideal post for you. Your job role will entail working with small class sizes of up to 6 children and on a 1:1 basis for those with an Education Health Care Plan (EHCP). This could include Autism; verbal and non-verbal, Speech, Language and Communication Needs; use of PECs and Makaton would be advantageous and Physical Disabilities; Moving and Handling training is desirable.
